GOTS & OCS Certifications

GOTS is an international environmental label for textiles that covers both social and environmental requirements. The certification means that the production and the product are tested for chemicals and heavy metals. This covers the entire life cycle from raw material to finished product. From preparation, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, trade and distribution.

GOTS' purpose is to make it easier for the consumer to choose textile products where both environmental and social responsibility have been taken into account. The abbreviation stands for Global Organic Textile Standard.

Organic 100 content standard, or 'OCS' – certified raw material means that we can verify and trace organically grown material in our final product. The abbreviation Organic Content Standard is issued and administered by the organization Textile Exchange. It is a label for organic textile material, which guarantees organic content in the product.
